Captain Kid’s feels that cleanliness is an important responsibility and we clean and sanitizes the facility on a daily basis. We follow the cleaning guidelines set out through the Fraser Health Board and have received good comments from the inspectors when we are inspected. We offer free hand sanitizer to all customers and frequently sanitize equipment and tables throughout the day. Unfortunately some children come into the facility with colds and flu symptoms and infect other children. The same thing happens when the children go to schools and daycares when they should be staying home. We will endeavor to keep improving our sanitizing in the never ending battle against germs.
You can request for Captain Kid to be present during your party but we are unable to guarantee that he will be able to make an appearance. His appearance depends on the number of staff we have available and if we can get people to squeeze into the attire.
When we arrive early for our booked party room, as per our contract, where do we leave our party supplies, presents and food?
Our staff will put your cake & food into our fridge/freezer, and store your supplies & presents in our office until you need them.
Yes, we have a deep freeze in our office. We will store your ice & cake until you need them.
A second room may have to be booked, depending on the amount of extra people attending.
In this case, you would receive (4) free admission passes to add to the 6 party attendees in order to make up the 10 prepaid admissions.
We have a NO REFUND policy, but we would try to reschedule for another date that works, up to 1 full year.
I was looking at your website regarding Private Party Bookings. Can these be booked at any time of the day?
Captain Kids is available for Private Party Bookings during the following times:
- Weekdays: 6pm-8pm (these times might change during different seasons)
- Weekends: 5:30pm-7:30pm (these times might change during different seasons)
No, for safety reasons, parents are responsible for supervising their children at all times when in Captain Kids.
Pinatas are allowed in the party rooms. Captain Kids does not allow party string spray or alcoholic beverages.
Yes, you can bring in snacks, lunches, Tim Hortons, etc. A room needs to be booked if you have any of the following items: food platters, cake or cupcakes, 2 or more pizzas, balloons or presents.
We have power outlets in all the party rooms, so you could bring your own music if you want, hotdogs from home, make platters of sandwiches, order pizza delivered to Captain Kids, or order from the concession store located within Sportsplex. Juice boxes or bottled water are always popular drink choices. You will need to bring your own plates, utensils, napkins, cups, loot bags, candles, knife to cut the cake, lighter for candles & table clothes. There are two tables in every party room (one table with beach seating on both sides and one smaller side-table). You could also decorate your room if you like with balloons, streamers, or other decorations for your theme. Our party rooms are themed: Princess, Jungle, Pirate & Under the Sea.
On the weekends, we tend to get quite busy. We recommend a 10am party for Toddlers before the noise gets overwhelming for the little ones.
